Where do you seek Peace?

There are many who seek peace in the sacred beauty of the forest, the sound of the ocean, or perched upon an open valley. Some come to feel at peace in their local church, synagogue, or mosque. They feel a renewal of their life's purpose, a quieting of their soul.

If you do seek comfort from stress and anxiety, could please share what calls your soul home.

Could you share the benefits that you may have come to experience, the freedom you have come to enjoy?

It might help others who are struggling to find peace of mind.

Thank you for your thoughts.

I seek peace in the DoJo, the ocean, gym walking alone.

Peace is found where the heart and soul find comfort. There is an amazing bond between physical expression and the healing of the soul. Peace cannot be manufactured. It is the result of staying present, the acceptance of what is. No modifiers, no denial, no distractions of the mind. Physical activity moves our attention from thought, to action, an amazing gift.

I don't usually seek it, it seeks me. It happens when I least expect it. Watching squirrels play, watching the birds in my yard, listening to the sounds of summer...

Thank you, it takes an open heart to sense the peace beyond all understanding.
