In traditional Japanese martial arts, calligraphy, bonsai tree trimming and many other cultural expressions the term mushin is pointed to.
It refers to the spontaneous, enlightened process in which creativity and reactions are driven by the absence of thought, rather than thinking of what to do, what to create, how to do it.
Mushin transcends the realms of time, rather, the artist and art have no separation, they have become one light, on an endless canvas.
